    Value Village MKII Helmet find

    I found this at the second hand store. I did a search and found it was a Canadianicon MKII WWII helmet (correct me if I'm wrong). It will display nicely with my Longbranch No.4. I'm curious what the painted on numbers are for. Salt Flat

    That's a service number. It identifies the soldier. The letters at the beginning show what province he came from. A military postie would be able to tell you which province this guy was from...
