What safety on a 41 Long Branch?

My 41 Whitworth sporter Long Branch has an unmarked safety thus:

Is this correct? I have this pic from the net:

which almost looks like an unmarked safety but hard to tell. Note that it's machined differently than mine and the spring is a different coppery colour on the 41.

42 LB's have an LB stamp on them and some of them on the spring thus:

Does anyone have an unscrewed with 41 LB that you can provice a close up pic of the safety from? Perhaps Whitworth swapped the safety on the 41 with a Brit one but not sure.

41 LB's are supposed to have the type 1 LB marked safety as in your 2nd pic. The safety currently on your LB appears to be a brit made part.

Thank you, that's exactly what I suspected.
    Look better now?
