    What is Drop Shipping?

From Ebay, For better or worse I just recently bought a SSI Sight-Rite Chamber Cartridge Laser Bore Sighter for 22 LR to see if it would help me mount/sight a scope on a Marlin M60 in .22 LR.

Paid and received nearly instant Positive feedback from the seller....
    buy_great_deals A seller since Aug 2016 with nearly 30,000 transactions.. !

Before buying on Ebay I could see it was cheaper to buy from Amazon, I use Amazon because there are more reviews to read. But I'd rather buy from someone other than Bezos, No Love here for him !

Purchased June 2, Seen tracking said being shipped by BlueCare Express (?).
Were never any updates and the Wife found the box stuffed in the front bushes Monday night (June 8) @ about 9 pm while watering her flowers before locking up.

So I searched his negative feedbacks to read buyers calling him out as a Amazon seller/buyer that uses Amazons BlueCare Express Drop Shipping.
Upon opening the Amazon box it had the item along with a Amazon order reference # that doesn't match my Ebay order number. Say's to use it for any returns.

So I can only assume this guy lists an item (that Amazon has) takes my payment and parlays that and others, then places orders with Amazon with instructions to ship to the Ebay buyers address.

If I'm on track, he and probable others are just acting as a middle men for Bezos.
Or is Bezos now set up using Ebay with multiple named seller stores ?

    Sound close ?

Here's a link to the item listing SSI Sight-Rite Chamber Cartridge Laser Bore Sighter for 22 LR Gauge 888151007983 | eBay.
I gave him Neutral feedback but tried to warn others with my feedback.

    I'm Charlieh6636 on Ebay

When you open the Feedback Link, Click on the Neutrals left in the last 30 days. Once you do you'll see my Username then you can click on the item number to see it. Item # 153010556410

PS: Haven't tried the Item, so no judgement on it at this time. No High expectations on my part. Also as of this time it doesn't show being Delivered using the tracking number via BlueCare Express....

This is what people on eBAY are now doing. The list things for more then what you find them on Amazon for, one you order it from them they place and order from Amazon with a shipping address to you as a "gift". They make money and you pay more.

So that explains the little slip in the box that says 'A Gift for You' !!

Plus when they order over X amount($) they get Free Shipping.

And I thought I was supporting the little guy vs Big Corp.
No memory of at least a courtesy reach around for me...

    Thanks Guys

Drop shipping is a fairly common practice..... bloke finds something on Amazon or AliBaba or whatever, lists it on another website for a few dollars more than what it is listed for on Amazon, then just has Amazon ship it directly to the customer when it sells. Great for them, they make a few bucks and never have to deal with any inventory. Amazon probably doesn't have anything to do with listing it on eBay. Just the latest in get rich quick ecommerce schemes.

You can still return it through the normal eBay channels. The real problem is for whoever sold it on Amazon when you do that, because the guy you bought it from will invariably return it to the Amazon seller, so they have to eat the shipping cost too.
