    Have a Enfield Cup launcher, RIA 1942 marked

    Trying to find out info on a RIA 1942 cup launcher. a little longer than the standard, no side vent. Anyone know anything about them, never seen one before.

    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...

    That was my 1st thought, but then he says it's "longer than normal and has no side vent" for distance adjustment,

    Which part is marked with RIA/RFI, the base or the cup? Also pictures would help a lot.

    Is it perhaps an American VB launcher? Would be odd to have a 1942 date but possible I suppose.

    I've been doing a bit of research and can find nothing useful.

    I'm assuming RIA is Rock Island Arsenal, but can find no evidence that they manufactured parts or accessories for Lee Enfield Riflesicon.
    Mine are not the best, but they are not too bad. I can think of lots of Enfields I'd rather have but instead of constantly striving for more, sometimes it's good to be satisfied with what one has...
