    No.4T Serial Number 10022

    A No.4T appearing at a UKicon auction

    https://www.peterwilson.co.uk/auctio...pp=48&pn=1&g=1

The serial number appears to have been changed, there is definitely a 4 underneath the 'S' used to strike the number out.

The sidewall 'T' demonstrates none of the signs of being punched in, possibly engraved?

Cheekpiece fit is not the best piece of carpentry

    Front pad screws look odd

    What a pity.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.

Would have been nice had they accredited Peter Laidlericon with the correct spelling of his surname on that auction listing, if he did in fact bring the scope back to life
'Tonight my men and I have been through hell and back again, but the look on your faces when we let you out of the hall - we'd do it all again tomorrow.' Major Chris Keeble's words to Goose Green villagers on 29th May 1982 - 2 PARA
