    Weaponsight Image Intensified L5A1

I hope this is the right place to post this. I have recently purchased three 'Weaponsight Image Intensified L5A1' units. The optics appear to be fine but they are just the main body parts - so no mount, no battery cover and most importantly no 'tube'. Much net searching later I have found that the original tube type needed is/was an EEV P8306C. I have also come accross mixed messages about the L5A1/L6A1/L11A1/L12A1 etc scope fanily also using the Mullard XX1306, but I haven't been able to find out for certain if it is a straight replacement for the EEV tube or not. Can anyone help?

I believe it was a 2nd Gen Delft tube that replaced them, but it was a long time ago, so lots of memory fade. I am certain the web will hold the answers for you though, here's one to get started on in the UKicon:

Thanks for your reply. I've already messaged them asking much the same question as they appear to have both tubes.

? Both the Mullard and the Philips XX1332 are rectangular apparently - https://www.abex.co.uk/esales/optical/philips/image-intensifier/xx1332/0e543_8027_a/index.php Is yours fitted within some sort of adapter?
