    Talking Colt Commando Jr. serial no. 41542 is home

    these pictures really dont do it justice ....

    I'm sort'a looking forward to getting the Colt Letter soon too.

    Nice one Tim. Glad to see you found one. Got it at auction or a local purchase? I was looking for the flaming bomb on the left side. I think there is something there but faint. My commando has a 4 digit serial and has the bomb. Have you seen the article on the web by Charles Pate on the commando? http://www.manatarmsbooks.com/pate.html

    This one has no final inspection / acceptance marks - which was common for the late Commandos - according to Pate.

    It completes my collection of Commandos / as I now have one with each of the three variations of martial markings (or lack there of) 2, w/ 4" barrels and the one Jr. pictured here ...

    (unless of course there really is a 6" barrel version out there somewhere)
