    M1C mount identification help

This came with a gen 2 Kollmorgen. Not sure if it is somebody's reproduction, a legit gen 2 M1C or a later commercial Griffin Howe mount. Any help would be greatly appreciated as to it's origins.

Agree, if it were military issue it would have the second line of the identification - the patent date

To be diplomatic, the originality is open to question.
