Remembering them

This has taken me a fair few years to put this little Australian montage together as a mark of respect not only for those that went away and did not retrurn but those that were left behind.
In setting this up I had to pick a level of the condition and stick to it so some I waited a long time for the right one at the right time.

The badges on the left are for the nearest female relative badge mother or wife issue during WWII for those who had men serving overseas.
Each star represents a person the 1 stars are fairly common 2's not so and the 3 stars are rather difficult to find I have seen 1 4 star in all my years trolling could not afford that one.
The ones on the right are WWII for the mother or wife who have lost a serviceman these are issued on the death of that serviceman all badges are numbered with their service No.

The flag with the 1 star is a WWI was issued on the death of the serviceman to the mother or wife again numbered and with our coat of arms these are exceedingly rare and this ones condition is about as good as it gets for 100+ years old.
The 1 star represents the loss of the person on active duty overseas, the small blue badge down the bottom is for WWI women of Australia for duty done in WWI.

Its my little thing of the greater deeds done by servicemen and women of their extreme sacrifice so we could live in relative peace in fact to all service personnel all over really.
