WW2 US Army Jungle First Aid Pouch

I found this pouch among some web gear that I had put away years ago. After doing
some research, I found out it is a WW2 Army Jungle First Aid pouch and dated 1945.

Anyone have any additional information on this pouch ?Attachment 114513Attachment 114514Attachment 114515

I have two, one in the new ALICE carrier with plastic box that I think came from my first trip to Coronado in '74 and the other cotton older one I can't remember. Maybe from Ft Wainwright AK in '75. Bear might know about that one. Both have a few original and some newer stuff. the ALICE had a metal container of chapstick I think that had gone to dust. I haven't opened in these in likely 30 years conservatively guessing...

The cotton case is marked "Aviator Camouflage". The pill bottle is iodine pills seal in with wax. Green rubber egg is a snake bite kit, some of you guys remember...
    Regards, Jim
