    Gentlemen...Luxembourg FN49 & Friends

    Hi Fellas,

Just picked up a Lux FN49 that I traded 3 SKSs for. It's in decent shape and on the rack with an SVT, 7mm Venezuelan FN49, 8mm Egyptian FN, and a Winchester Garandicon. I'm a happy camper. PAX

Lovely looking example, always liked the FN49, I had the privilege of handling one of the early wartime Enfield tool room trials rifles a few years ago.

Nice, I assume you scrubbed out the serial numbers? looks like a first contract. No cross bolt in the stock. Have you removed the stock? Numbers should be present.

Congrats, you own a nice Rifle, I bought one of those over 50 years ago for $46 at a pawn shop outside of Ft Bragg, it is still in my collection and I still love it!

I have a friend in FLA who owns one of the FN Argentineicon Navy conversions of the FN49 to 7,62mm NATO with both the 20rd and
    later 10rd detachable magazine
