Sten MK5 sling swivel

Does anyone know when the sling swivel on the MK5 Sten gun was changed to the small triangle type ? Im putting the finishing touches on a Sten MKVI that I built on a registered York tube and realized my sling doesn’t attach due to the sling swivel being a small triangle instead of the larger oval one.

Here’s the Sten , I’m working on the silencer unit and hope to get it done soon. I have a reproduction suppressor cover from HT&C in England. The silencer unit will be 1.5” diameter and 13 inches long. It’s not a direct copy but will be very close externally.
