    HELP! Swords for sale locally!

I have a shot at some estate sale swords and I am in need of some knowledgeable input. I'm pretty good with Commonwealth stuff having been buying, selling, and collecting for a lot of years, but I'm out of my wheelhouse with continental blades. I have a shot at 3 swords. Given the number of really good fakes coming out of eastern Europe and Asia, caution is a good thing. The Germanicon one is purported to be from the 1700's and has a leather and brass scabbard. The engraving that I can see sort of bears that out. That said, any input as to values and authenticity would be most appreciated. Pardon the pics but at present, that's all I have.

Pic 3 the blade looks to me, with my poor eyesight, like it may have been welded for whatever reason which would mean no chance of a deal from me on that one.

Personally I'd only be interested in the 2nd one if I could get it at reasonable price. If I am in any doubt about an item being repro then I'll only pay repro prices.

Well, I picked up the swords today. Two are Frenchicon, a Mle.1845 that's "been there and done that", a Mle.1822/99 marked with Chatellerault and dated 1909 and a 1788 Pat. Germanicon or Bavarian "Rumford" sabre. Interestingly, the 1822/99 pat. has the owners initials engraved at the end of the upper grip near the pommel. I believe what you perceived as welds are just the remnants of the engraving on the German one. Anyway, here are better pics.
