How do I remove this type of rear sight?

This is a 1909 Argentineicon engineers carbine. I'm looking for details on how to remove the rear sight... Not the whole rear sight that wraps around the barrel but just the part that has 200-1400 meters stamped into it. I think it comes apart differently than a k98 type rear sight.

I'm asking because I'm considering removing the bluing that was applied to the sight at some point in the past 112 years... To get it back to original

    Thanks.

I own a bunch of milsurp but a few of my favorites are my Lithgow smle 1942, Argentine 1909 engineer Mauser carbine and my newest favorite, my Swiss K11... It's a special rifle with a troop tag and the most accurate I own.

You need to research what original was to ensure the correct original. Then, of course, the sight would look different from the rest of the metalwork. Then... and then... I won't stop there.

I would leave it as is, it has history behind it.

What about photos of the rest?

I know what original is... Shouldn't be blued... Search my profile I have a lot of photos of it... The metal work should be in the white like 99% of Mausers of the era... White receiver, white barrel band springs, white buttplate, white sights, white bolt. Barrel should be blued.
