In the book CURRAHEE!, Donald R. Burgett recounted an incident in Normandy where a young trooper mounted on a white horse and braced with a pair of Lugers repeatedly charged a machinegun nest. Yelling "Hi Ho Silver" he made three successful charges against the MG with no injuries. Sadly, he was shot out of the saddle on his 4th charge.
