German 210mm Howitzer

I thought people would be interested to see this image of what is captioned as a German 210mm Howitzer apparently residing in Newquay, Cornwall in 1928. What would be interesting is to know if it survives to this day?

But what about the cars? Can we identify them by the back ends? I think an Essex car was owned around this time?

The 2 people are family members and the old Gentleman was originally from Ireland but moved to England as a much younger man. It seems sad today that he felt it necessary to drop the "O" from the beginning of his surname when moving to England, indicating his Irish roots.
