Siamese mauser bayonet

A buddy has asked me if I know the value of this bayonet. I'm pretty knowledgeable about commonwealth stuff, but as to this, I have no idea. If any of you good folks could give an idea of fair market value, I'll let him know if he should look into it further. Thanks all.

Once again Jim, thank you. I looked at several sites to try to get a ballpark idea. Those guys are always at the high end, and in my opinion, a little too high end in their pricing. From what I've seen, I've told him if he can get it for $100. all in he'd be doing well. I have a late 1700's to early 1800's German dragoon sabre that may well be a privately commissioned sword and therefore a one-of-a-kind. Try to get a value for that!!!!

Hey Jim, check this out! From my research, a one-of-a-kind privately commissioned German states (Bavaria?) dragoon sabre, 1780's-1820's, Rumford style guard.

The problem with this bayonet is that most examples seem to have condition issues, like poor grips that are riveted on if memory serves me correctly. I didn't pay much for my 2 examples of this bayonet but both had issues with condition.

Agreed, the grips are no screaming hell, but they're not really damaged. I don't think walnut stood up well to the Thai climate, but the bayonet had been very heavily greased so the blade and metal were in good shape given it's age. A gentleman in the states purchased it from me.
