And to think, this gas mask probably only saw service this once! It probably ended up in a ditch or overboard.

Every time that I see someone wearing a WW2 era gas mask I think of the asbestos that was in the filter of many of them.

When the Virus "hit" I opted to use my "painting respirator" when I needed to wear a mask. I just ignored all the comments and negative views of others who thought that all they needed was a wafer thin paper mask to provide 100% protection against Covid.
