bm59 / garand reveiver lug differences

i been having a little difficulty installing and removing the trigger housing group on a new bm59. it turns out the clearance for the trigger guard lugs is about 1/16" less on the bm.
note the difference in thickness between the rifles on the forward part of the lug.

could there have been a machining error on my bm59?

i don't see how it could be correct because the bm59 trigger housing lugs are scored and shiney, also the bm59 trigger housing group will fit into a garand reciever just fine (without the wood). the stocks are not interswitchable beacuse of the winter trigger.

thanks mike . check the pictures again note the forward surface on the receiver lugs on the garand and the bm59.
there is inadaquate clearance for the trigger guard lugs in the space between the reciever lugs. the trigger housing group will install but there is too much contact between the trigger lugs and the receiver lugs.this is chewing up the outboard surfaces on the trigger guard lugs and maybe the female surfaces on the receiver lugs.
the winter trigger is not part of the problem nor is the stock. the bm 59 trigger housing group will install in a garand reciever ok (with the stock removed).
