    I would like your opinion, good or bad, Thanks

    I'm saying "good" on the sights, but "questionable" on the front band. The finish on the band looks odd, for one thing. - Bob

    @ GI-Bob,
    You think that Band was Parked over ? With a Darker finish, thats now thinning?

    @Louis,
    Can you get a picture of the Band's Weld Spots?
    And bottom of Flip Sight ?

    Thx,

    Hi Painter,
    I can't get a good pic. of the top of the barrel band, it does have three welds on the top, also some of the bottom of the flip sight, if you need more let me know, thanks for looking. Louis

    Here's a UI Band on a mixer Rock Ola. I'd have to look at others to see the size and style of the UI Stamp, and if they changed over time. On this one the U isn't as short or wide as the one LBoos is showing.
    Same Band showing 3 very light weld marks.

    The Flip Sight is to compare side milling and the S. This Flip is from a Documented 4 Digit Inland.

    @GI Bob,
    If you get time could you put the 2 UI bands side x side for a comparison view of the letters.
    As you know I haven't figured out how to do that yet.

    Thx,
    Charlie-Painter777

    Charlie: On the band, some pictures make it look as if it has scale on it, like it had been heated up or maybe through a fire. I know that some of the parts Frawdog (sp?) salvaged, had that look though - after he had cleaned them up. Also, the band doesn't appear used - new screw? The UI stamp looks pretty close, a bit different but it is lightly struck. I've got a picture of one of mine, I'll look for it. Here's the best I could do with the "side x side" picture. - Bob

    Charlie, I've got (2) Inlands with UI bands and a U on an S'G' - forgot about the Inland stamps being upside down, though. - Bob
