Wards Model 60/ Stevens 620 riot build

Found another project, a Wards Western Field Model 60 aka Stevens 620A. Always liked Montgomery Wards so to me it’s cool to have a Wards shotgun. Anyway I had to seriously beat the barrel off off the recvr, obviously not correct to the recvr as JMB designed these cool shotguns to be easy to take down. Been working on it the last few days and have the barrel on the recvr. It’s still a tad tight as I can assemble it by hand but need to tap it initially to get it to come apart. The faux trenchgun barrel fits on either my 520 or 620 actions.

I had both the 520-30 and 620 Savage guns at one time years back. Both were like you say "Neat"...shot them lots and both were shorties. Neither was a trench however. Hold the trigger down with lighter loads and empty out quick...
