    And Fort Ord. That whole west coast is over run with the stuff! I heard long ago that the military actually grew that stuff during WWII and dumped tons of it in the Pacific to allow the current to carry it to Japan so the Japaneseicon would have to deal with it rather than US military. I don't know if it's true but something I heard 50 years ago.

    I've had it enough and bad enough I'd call it a military strain!

    We heard at the time it was sown the same way and reason as Agent Orange, tested to be used in RVN. I was told this in '85 though. Perhaps there's a thread of truth to the part about it being tested for a combat deterrent.
