Attached are a nice group of military books, many at a fraction of even online USED prices!

A) Payment can be made by check or money order. I may have to hold checks until they clear unless you are known to me. Paypal can be used, but a 4% premium will be added to offset fees charged by Paypal unless you do it as a gift/family.

B) All prices do not include shipping. Shipping is done by USPS Media Mail, which I have found economical and secure and now comes with tracking numbers. I will quote a shipping price, when you make an offer. Insurance is optional. Although I pack and ship very carefully, I can’t be responsible if you don’t insure large purchases.

C) Books vary in condition and I do my best to describe them properly. Books are hard-backed unless otherwise mentioned. Any questions will be gladly answered. I will also provide reasonable pictures of the books or their content if you want. Obviously, “I’ll take it” trumps over “Can you send me more information?” ?

E) Books are for sale on several forums. When two people offer to buy the same book or books, the earlier email/PM is considered first. I try to update this list to show purchased books at least once a day.

6) “Fall of the Philippines” by Ward Rutherford. One of the old Ballantine Books WWII series. Numerous pictures, drawings, maps and tables. Trade ppk. G-VG, $4.00

II. Navy and Naval Warfare:

1) “Great Naval Battles of the 20th Century” by Jean DeLitt. A GRAPHIC novel-type book with Tsushima (1905), Jutland (1916) and Midway, completely illustrated in color. 170 pp. Lg. trade ppk., NEW. $10.00

2) “Pearl Harbor Countdown: Admiral James Richardson” by Skipper Steely. While wartime admirals such as Kimmel and Nimitz get a lot of attention, Richardson was head of the Pacific Fleet until early 1941. His refusal to base the U.S. Fleet led to his dismissal. Was involved in much of the runup to Pearl Harbor. Near New, $12.50

3) “The Queenstown Patrol, 1917” by Cdr. Joseph Taussig. SPF

4) “From the Dreadnought to Scapa Flow – Vol. 1, 1907 to 1914” by Arthur Marder. This first volume covers many facets of the history of the Royal Navy during the pre-war decade, including the economic and political background such as the 1906 Liberal Government hostility towards naval spending. Inevitably, however, attention moves to the German naval challenge, the arms race and the subsequent Anglo-German rivalry, and, finally, the British plans for the blockade of the German High Seas Fleet. Although this new volume in Military Illustrated's "Classic Soldiers" series emphasizes the Napoleonic Wars, the author also covers the precursors of the Rifles and their distinguished service down to the present day. The numerous color illustrations will be a must for artists, wargamers and re-enactors. $8.95

2) “British Naval Aviation: Fleet Air Arm, 1917-1990” by Ray Sturtivant. SPF

3) “The 27th Infantry Division In World War II” by Edmund Love. The 27th Infantry Division was the first Army unit sent in and the last to be sent home from the Pacific. This book is not the romantic, entertaining story that one might expect. Instead, it is a matter-of-fact historical account of the men, their units, and their war.
