L42A1 IWS bracket with Picatinny Rail Adaptor. (£299.00 + postage for original rail + Picatinny adaptor)


This listing is for a high quality CNC machined IWS Bracket for the L42 A1.

The bracket was made originally to allow the fitment of the IWS night sight onto the Lee Enfield L42A1 sniper rifle. When the rifles were withdrawn from service, most of the brackets were left in the IWS kits. This makes them one of the rare accessories for the L42 complete equipment schedule (CES)

The bracket has been made from the original drawings and is phosphated to protect from rust. The purchaser can oil black or paint the bracket as desired.

I have also had made some Picatinny Rail adaptors. This simply screws on in place of the original STANAG rail to allow the use of picatinny rings/mounts and the fitment of modern scopes.

These brackets will fit L42 and No.4T rifles and clones with the correct pads fitted.

This listing is for one bracket, with original STANAG rail, cap head bolts and thumscrews with sprung washers. Also included in 1 x Picatinny rail adaptor.
