French Kepi, need help with this one

Yard sale pickup today. I have it identified as a French Army kepi, infantry. Beyond that, I know nothing. How old it is, period? Rank, what does the top design means? Any help would be appreciated. It seems to be in very good shape.

Might be for a 2nd lieutenant.

Likely post 1959 due to ordnance bomb rather than regiment number. That's disappointing, I was hoping it was WWII but the condition is likely too good for that.
