Blued (or, rather, a blue-black finish).

    SC Bolt???

What does the safety lug look like on a SC Bolt? Is is shaped like a normal 1903 or oval?

Oval? There were two types, the normal "scalloped", seen on virtually all earlier M1903 bolts, and a "squared off one used on later SC bolts and some WWII replacement bolts.

Yes it is oval. The lug between the bolt handle and the front of the bolt face. I will try to take a picture. Springfield Sportes has a greaty rep, so I believe it is correct. It is just oval.

    SC Safety Lug

It's not scalloped. It is oval as a race track.
