    Shooting Cast Bullets

    I finally made time to get some range time in with the cast loads I made.
    The Load is 13 grains of red dot with Bullets I cast using the Lee C-309-150F
    Mold. The range is at 100 yards using Iron Sights with my 1903A3.

    So, this is a gas check bullet? Looks like they're all there anyway, I have enough pistol powders too I should try some of that with .308 and 30/30. No keyholes anyway...I can't do anything with iron sights any more.
    Regards, Jim

    Yes, they are gas check bullets I usually just plink off hand at gongs but wanted to try on paper, could be better but I have been noticing
    the target gets a little blurry the gongs are a little larger and I do a little better. Nice having less recoil.

    I had to stop offhand because my control isn't what it was, eyesight is failing too. I use those same bullets with 30/30.

    I do ok for a little while then start to get tired offhand and call it a day. As far as my vision I guess I will shorten the distance of the target or try
    using a scope.
