Sten silencer cover genuine or reproduction ?

    Hi

Would appreciate some feedback on the originality or not of this Sten cover
It is marked on the inside with a broad arrow stamp and can just make out M E C 1944 it also appears to have also been stamped on the outside but is very faint but appears to be M E C again.

    Thanks

    Terence,
It looks OK in photos with relevant degredation for the years used, but there are so many fakes around I wouldn't like to take a bet, without a closer inspection. Provenance from the previous keeper has to be the key I'm afraid in this case.
