    M14 Magazine value

Not looking to sell it but had one thrown in for free today in a deal for a couple of other things. Neither of us knew what it was at the time but this was my second guess.

How much are they worth, can’t find one for sale anywhere.

No markings at all but assuming it’s military issue. Has the age patina.

For what it's worth, Fulton armory is selling unused usgi M14icon magazines for $79.99. the article I read on them say if it's parkerized a light gray and has no markings then it's probably made in China. The article read all usgi made M14 magazines were stamped with a maker's mark. The article is from 1999 though and I wish I knew how to post links but unfortunately I do not. HTH

I took it outside and wiped it down with steel wool. Found markings. BRW over S-I It cleaned up pretty nice.

My word, am researching these now and didn't realize they were such a big deal being faked and such. I guess I have to take it apart to find out if it's real but what am I looking for? Number of welds??? Crazy.

Appears value is in the $40-$50 range due in large part to bans and other shortages, never would have thought, I figured $10.

    From Fulton Armory...https://www.fulton-armory.com/faqs/M14-FAQs/M14Mags.htm
Here are the makers code marks that I've seen or heard of:

    BRW made by Borg-Warner
    BRW S-1 made by Borg-Warner
C.M.I. made by Check Mate Industries of Long Island, New York
Note: CMI was the last known military contract maker. (Circa 1990/1991.) This contract was reportedly done for the U.S. Navy for M14 deck rifles used during the Gulf War. According to Clint McKee of Fulton Armory, the quality of these magazines was not quite as good as from earlier contracts.

HR made by Harrington and Richardson
H-R made by Harrington and Richardson
HR-R made by Harrington and Richardson
KMT (A stylized logo with large K and the "M" and T" tucked in around the "K") made by Kileen Machine and Tool Company
M made by ? Possibly mis-marked magazines made by Winchester (inverted M???)
OM made by Winchester (Back when it was part of Olin-Matheson.)
SA made by Springfield Armory (The original government arsenal, not the commercial firm that now uses the name.) These magazines are very scarce and command premium prices.
TRW made by Thompson Ramo Woolridge
UHC made by Union Hardware Company
    W made by Winchester
    WRA made by Winchester

Agreed, yours is a Borg-Warner. Common maker and probably works flawlessly. It looks good to me, no fake. I also agree at about $40USD?
