A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. I used to be familiar with First St Seattle where every other store seemed to be a surplus store. They all had one of those or another. Carbines and BARs, .30 cal...tons of training grenades. Could have bought all the scarce stuff then. 1974, Easter weekend...

Thanks a lot for posting this

You could have at least had the decency to wait until it was over so I couldn't bid on it!

I've had, and sold, a complete one of these. They're a little too valuable and LARGE for me to hang on to. But this small section isn't worth much more than I just paid (I don't think) and will display very well.

No, I'm not that "dingy." I understand what mechanical platforms can support different cartridges. And it's Oregon. A state of this union.

Is that the same as, "you understand what gun can shoot a different bullet " ?
Yea, I did misspell that, and I guess it's still a part of the union, even though you guy's from Oregon sure talk funny.
