    36th

I brought this slouch hat about 10 years ago and the seller said it was a WWII Australianicon Burma 36th Inf Div (Rare Chindits Jungle badge apparently).
We haggled around I got her down a bit paid $150 Aud the slouch hat itself and accruements are in pretty good nick but thats not my question.

My question is this the only 36th I could find with those badges were,
    36th Britishicon Inf Div 1 Sept 1944
    36th Indian Inf Div 15 Dec 1942

    Notable battles - Mandalay & Rangoon Rd dis-banded 1945.

Can anyone please help put a bit of history on this slouch hat I appreciate it.

The hat was made in 1942 anyone know the maker as you can just make out Dennam & ? Ltd.

    TIA

I see Dennam & Hartgrave LTD or maybe Hargrave on the first line, still trying to decipher the word on the second line. Best I can make out it looks like it says Atoerstone on the second line.hth
