    Smarter than me!

The last 2 weeks here have been woeful weather freezing days & night with continual rain/blustery conditions.
We've had the fire roaring every day and night to remain reasonably comfortable and venture out only if really required.
I've only managed 1 ride in these 2 weeks of my V4 Ducati during half a day's respite from the weather and the roads being dried out enough so gained some sanity.

Anyway the other member of the house who has fur on the outside has decided its too cold for him so he plays the Alabama Tick with a folded blanket near our fire.
Its quite a lark watching him burrow like a ground hog snuffling & sneezing pushing his head further into the folds.
He remains hidden and he will not answer you when called but lay doggo, if we go out we have to ensure where he is due to the alarm system.
He has an area which is calibrated for him but a human size figure will set it off but boy its frustrating trying to find him at times!

So hence the caption "Look at me all rugged up".

That's where we're at too. I'd far rather be able to dress up that not be able to cool off at all. I have my firewood laid in too...

Winter in July would take some getting used to.
“There are invisible rulers who control the destinies of millions. It is not generally realized to what extent the words and actions of our most influential public men are dictated by shrewd persons operating behind the scenes.”

    Edward Bernays, 1928

Much changes, much remains the same.
