    Lee Metford

    Hi all,

Just thought I would share my new bush hunting rifle for NZicon bush hunting
I purchased this old Enfield 18 months ago, only to find out I have purchase a Lee Metford MkII

The barrel is average but the rifling for a Metford is a good condition
    All matching numbers

I managed to find all the parts I needed, only one left to find
Fitting the wood was the biggest challenge

Its taken at 12 months, but shes ready for some target practice, finishing the custom loads this weekend

    Im happy with the result
    regards

    Bravo Zulu!

Worthy task. Noble result. It speaks of the character revealed by adversity. Thank you for what you did. On another forum some are still trying to justify the utter destruction of an old rifle simply because it could be done.
