While on active duty, Israeli Defense Force soldiers are required to guard their weapons, whether on the clock or off.

In some cases, their rifle is an early 1918 BAR...nice. Yes, I've been there, so dirty you have to hose off outside. Or times when you wore webbing and rifle into the shower to get started.

Indenious way to carry a loaded firearm without the magazine being inserted but immediatly available.
