    10-41 sa/ ghs ria/fk

The stock has been heavily sanded but Cartouches still mostly visible. Other than the Type III lockbar I think its correct. It still having a sight seal was the real surprise to me.

Thanks for the pix, but you really need to work on focus, these are awful.

Nice piece. Yes, focus could be sharper. Hard to make out the drawing numbers. Natural light and neutral background, not white.

Thanks. I’ll delete this post and try again when I have some sunlight.

    Springfield 1940 rebuild

It took me a long time to learn to take photos and still learning. photos show a 1940 receiver with a S-A 8-41 bbl (exc bore) and the light color suggests to me that it is a 1944 rebuild but actually could have been reparked at another time. The stock is a SA GHS rebuild stock with nice figure for a GHS period stock. Rifle came from California though a friend of the late Billy Pyle years ago

    Try again 10-41

Sun here this morning, rain this afternoon and for the next 5 days. I don't seem to be able to get the 6 SA safety. The side by side receivers are my 8-41 and this 10-41. I hope these are better.
