    Sarco 1911 Carbine conversion kit

I got an email on Wednesday about their 16" barrel, stock and holster kits for 1911's. I'm a sucker for odd 1911 things and this wasn't that expensive at $150.00. It came today and It's a really nice kit.

One thing that concerned me was my mainspring housing doesn't have a slot for the stock and they were sold out of the slotted ones but it came with the slotted housing. It was not pictured in the offer.

So basically, it's ready to go. As slow as I am, it will be forever before I actually shoot it but I thought I'd let everyone know just in case anyone's interested but I think they sold out of them already.

Holster holds the stock, the pistol with standard barrel, the long barrel and an extra magazine.

I tried one years ago, maybe 30 years and couldn't wait... The gasses from the cartridges seemed to be piped directly into my eye and made shooting very uncomfortable. Don't know why it was like that, using a Browning Hi Power with a stock wasn't like that.
