Together, for the first time, at least in a long while

Thanks to the power of the internet and the brotherhood of Enfield collectors I have just acquired a bucket list No. 32 scope in trade. One of the rarest versions (but not the rarest, I missed out on that 4-5 years ago) of a UIC No. 32, a Mark 2. UIC, based on serial numbers only made around 30 Mark 2s with most of their scope tubes marked as Mark 2s actually being Mark 2/1s. I doubt a UIC Mark I, 2, and 2/1 have ever been together but for your enjoyment....

For those who wish to collect an example of each Mark of UIC and each marking variation of each Mark there are 5 known; only 2 more for me to find, afford, and acquire!

A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. My old records show UIC's ranging from serial number 9 to 565. I had 186 previously recorded from many years ago
