    Hawker Typhoon restoration.

The world may yet again see a flying 'Tiffie' Hawker Typhoon again! There is a group near Comox, B.C. that is well on their way to rebuilding a Typhoon to air worthiness. It's an interesting story of their struggle to find parts and a Sabre engine for their aircraft. They found a Sabre engine owner who when approached to find out how much he wanted for the engine said that he wanted a running Merlin engine so the team in B.C. found a Merlin, rebuilt it and the swap was on. As a holiday special Amazon's Audible.com is offering the book as free download. I prefer a good book in my hands but I can't argue with the price.
