A Special Memory for an RAF Veteran

This past Saturday, we held our yearly shooting party. We were honored to have a new attendee this year. Tony is 93 years old and served as an armorer in the RAF from 1950 to 1952. One of his primary duties was servicing and repairing the Lee Enfield No 4 rifles assigned to his unit. He had not held or fired a No 4 since the conclusion of his service in 1952. It was an honor to watch him shoulder our No 4 and fire 10 rounds down range while being filmed by his family. Definitely a very special memory for everyone who was in attendance. The smile on his face and the faces of his family will always be remembered by our friends and family who were there. It is a great feeling to participate in a hobby that can make so many people so happy. I encourage everyone to make their collections available for others to share and enjoy.
