A Navy buddy gave me the spent casing from one of our 3" 70's and the Limbo ASW mortar
The Limbo was just a blank type casing with a charge but no projectile. I have one here...also a 3"50 complete, but missed a 3"70 complete. When you decide to make your projectile let me know and I can provide pics and measurements. The two had a near identical projectile.
Restigouche class Destroyer , im Mi'gmaq , my reserve in Quebec was called the Restigouche Indian Reserve for the longest time , its right on the St Charles river which was named the Restigouche river , i wasnt raised on the Rez , i was raised in the states , i never knew there was a Restigouche class destroyer
The 7 ships of the Restigouche class were all named after Canadian rivers and they served the Royal Canadian Navy for 40 years. Most of them underwent DELEX (Destroyer Life Extension) programs and were very capable ships by the end of their service careers. The Restigouche was the first Canadian navy vessel to make official visits to Israel and Saudi Arabia and you can still visit her if you know how to scuba dive as she was sunk off the coast of Acapulco, Mexico in 2001 as an artificial reef.
when they renamed the river the St Charles River they renamed the reserve the Listuguj Indian Reserve , not sure when the renamed it but my dads indigenous status card has it listed as Restigouge
