    And it Begins

Massive drone swarm with cruise missiles supposedly on it's way from Iran to Israel. Drones have proven to be rather difficult to deal with, at least by the Russians. Will our tech do any better?

Could take hours to arrive, going through Iraq airspace.

First wave has apparently hit with minimal damage. Drones could take 9 hours to get there. The US and Jordan have already been identified as shooting down drones. Israels Iron Dome taking out missiles. One known casualty, 10 year old hit by falling debris.

Second wave hit an Israeli airbase in the Negev desert. No word on casualties but heavy damage to the base. Israel vows to reply in kind. Not looking good.

Israel can't and won't ignore such an attack to their country. I would like to know what Vladimir Putin, Ebrahim Raisi and Xi Jinping discussed last December when they met in the Kremlin. I'm pretty sure they weren't talking about golf or grandkids.

I know this is politics. The conflict started by Hamas is escalating almost out of control. It will be interesting to see Israel's response, and then Iran, and then allies, etc.

Let's keep this out of political territory per the forum rules, please.

The good news with this is that they supposedly shot down 99% of the attack. Makes you wonder why the Russians are having so much difficulty. It seems apparent that their technology is NOT as good as they pretend.

But then again, Iran's could just be that bad.
