    What is it? 75MM projectile

Here is a question for the ordnance experts on the forum. What is it? Pic attached.

    Description:
-- 75MM projectile. Flat base. One driving band.
    -- Unfired.
    -- Inert body and fuze.
-- Does not appear to be a dug relic. Very little rust inside or out.
-- No markings or paint on body, base or fuze.

Shell has the appearance of a WWI Frenchicon HE shell with the following differences:
    - Exterior of shell body was nickel plated.
    - A round 55MM hole drilled in the body. No nickel plating where hole drilled in body. No burrs or tool marks.
    - No residue or carbon or burn marks on the inside of the shell body or fuze.

Could this be a WWI French 75MM gas shell that was de-milled or a training aid?

An ID and value in USD would be very helpful. Regards, Steve

The fuze is a bit odd in shape but the rest could easily be a WW1 75mm Howitzer projectile. Gas or otherwise, a hole saw to open it for easy proof of demil. The top piece of fuze looks like the American Tin Can co projectile/fuze I have here. No markings of any kind? Nothing?

Price here would be moot to your area.
