What do you want to bet they run out by this fall even with the limit? I just put an order in for 4 cans that I won't even get close to shooting for another 2 or 3 years. Such is human psychology.

I think you're right Carl. I ordered a 240 round can earlier last month and it'll be interesting to see if I get it or am offered a substitute. I really don't think the ammunition the CMPicon has now will last much beyond the fall. The fact that they are out of raised the price of all .30 M2 ball, imposed a limit and are out of the 240 round cans sure points that way. They've gone from a supply they thought would last years to running on empty in just a few months.

You will get your ammo. Orest does an excellent job of forecasting when he will sell out and announces accordingly.

They still have some in Iowa...

With CMPicon announcing at the beginning of the month that Hornady ammunition will be issued for the Garandicon and Springfield Matches at Camp Perry this year, the hand writing was on the wall. The days of cheap 30-06 seem to have slipped by us.

Since they aren't jumping over cliffs I joined the lemmings and ordered four cans. You can't have too much ammo.

I bit the bullet and ordered my limit of 10. I might see it in July if I'm lucky.

A little too late? Way too much talk of pickup truck loads of ammo being driven away.

I ordered my LC loose 240 rds in early Feb and still havent seen it. Received a notice that it could take 90-120 days to see it. I wish I ordered four cans now.
