    Value of Underwood/Winchester Variant

My local gun store has an Underwood marked receiver that was finished by Winchester. It has the "WWA" marked behind the Underwood stamp and has "w" marked barrel. Non import, late type 3 features, and has M2 stock (P)marked. They want $750. for the carbine. Is this a fair price? Thanks Rod

Definately worth the price. They normally go for a nice bit more.
When they tell you to behave, they always forget to specify whether to behave well or badly!

    WWA/Underwood carbine

Aircav73, I bought the carbine from Brian yesterday.I recognized as it as scarce variant. As you are ,I am also a 1stCav vereran. Hq Battery 5/82 Arty . Korea. After disassembly of the carbine, I find the (bolt, trigger hsng )are Nat'l. Postal Meter. The slide is Inland, and the barrel is as expected Winchester. I have already located a Winchester type 4 slide, however no w bolt as yet. Garry Owen
