A Collector's View - The SMLE Short Magazine Lee Enfield 1903-1989. It is 300 8.5x11 inch pages with 1,000+ photo’s, most in color, and each book is serial-numbered. Covering the SMLE from 1903 to the end of production in India in 1989 it looks at how each model differs and manufacturer differences from a collecting point of view along with the major accessories that could be attached to the rifle. For the record this is not a moneymaker, I hope just to break even, eventually, at $80/book plus shipping. In the USA shipping is $5.00 for media mail. Did a search of Texas Gun Shows and it looks like the gun shows in San Antonio are the third weekend of the months.

But keep searching, there may be some on the fringe towns. After all, Texas is full of gun nuts.

That's what the liberals keep telling us.

Aw, yeh but aren't they selling them all to Mexicans?

The only search I know of is Gun Lists and maybe small shows don't list there? Thought maybe some locals may know. Thanks.

There is a brand new gunshow in Austin, Texas 2nd and 3rd of May. Austin is about 70 miles north of San Antonio on interstate 35. The show is supposed to be 600 tables but as I said this is the first date for this show. It will be held at the old Target store at the intersection of interstate 35 and William Cannon Blvd. This is on the south side of Austin on the east side of the interstate at exit 228 if your headed north. This show promoter usually holds shows in San Antonio any usually has some Military venders who lean towards M1icon Carbine and 98 mauser rifles and parts, usually some Garands but few parts. Hope this helps.
