.223 SS109 Green Tip Bullets. Prices??

I have an oppertunity to buy loose, SS109 Green Tip bullets in bulk (1000-3000) ...but having trouble finding what is a realistic wholesale and / or re-selling price in todays market.
I see asking prices all over the map on retail & auction sites so they aren't much help!

My thought is to get more than I need, and to repack the remainder into smaller bags of say, 100 or 250 for re-sale on my (once a year) table at an up coming gun show.
What would you guys pay for a bag or two of green tips?

I haven't done much with AR's & .223 cal. yet, ..so any imput regarding realistic buy/sell prices would be welcomed.

PS; ( I posted this same question over on the re-loading bench too )

SS109's are considered armor piercing; or at least "metal penetrating." A lot of ranges won't let you shoot FMJ's, let alone AP. I was stopped from shooting S&B SS-109 ammo in a 3-gun shoot because of concern over damage to the reactive targets. I can't help you with prices (man, are they fluctuating) but I can tell you the number of places you can shoot those things is getting smaller every day. That might be a consideration.

In OH they will bring around $.50 a round if you can find them. Some people have jacked their prices higher but they are still on their tables at the end of the gun shows. You can get XM193 for around $.44 around.

at 50 cents each for the bullet head alone, that would be 50 bucks per hundred! Heck, can buy Sierra Match Kings for 32.00!
