    Yet another new bayonet book

American Gladius - a study of the US M9 bayonet, only covers the issue pieces and the development history, not comprehensive but a lot of information and history, its at least a start on the M9

Thanks for the info, old-smithy. Maybe Bill Porter will write a book that picks up where this one leaves off. In the mantime, I'm waiting on the new book by Vince Coniglio and Doug Yates ("The United Statesicon M3 Trench Knife and M4 Bayonet-Knife; 1943 to Present").

    American Gladius - not recommneded
    The Kragicon one - excelletn
Roy Willaims second volume (supposed to be out this year) - will be a lot of new info from what I know and have seen
The Keisling Reprint - the new essential in my opinion
    The one above, and
Finally the 3rd Volume of ABC is supposed to be at the printers - about time.

I also know of two or three others being drafted up but probably still a few years away yet.

Thanks Carl. I was counting up the new books that I knew about and couldn't come up with six. Left out Roy's and didn't know about the 3rd ABC. That should be a good one. Now if they would only do an English version.

Amen to that, they would make a fortune as the books are the most comprehensive source out there, maybe i should write one, I have access or possess more blades than those referenced in any other books other than the ABC ones - oops isn't that my web site though? or it will be once i figure out the database publishing

New books should be a lot more than 2 or 3, I can think of about 6 off the top of my head, that are underway, some because of questions asked about some of my bits, and others from knowing people who are looking for reference material.
