    need help to ID Mosin

Good day everyone, I have in my hands what someone told me is a mosin nagant. however on this site and the MN website I cant track this model down. The markings read as follows New Englandicon / Westinghouse company / 1915 no 825336
Ive never fired this piece as I'm not sure of its strength.

other than the fact that a 7.62*54R chambers easily I know nothing at all.

It was given to me by an elderly gent after I had bought some other guns from him, and even he wasnt sure of its origin

    any help would be appreciated,

    smoin smokey

It's a Mosin Nagant M91 long rifle made in the USAicon by New Englandicon Westinghouse under contract for the Tsar (Nicholas II).

If it's in good order, it's perfecty safe to fire these old war horses

The U.S. 91's are getting silly money in these parts. They are supposed to be some of the highest quality made, but, I don't own one to say for sure, wanta trade?-SDH

There is a VERY large price difference dependin if it's a US issued Mosin or if it's a Finn capture/rework.

Maybe you can post some pics of the markigns?
