Chuck, call Nellis Air Force Base, Las Vegas, NV. They have several MiG's on base and perhaps someone in the Base Museum could help.

    MiG 15 aircraft cannon

Tony Williams at CANNON, MACHINE GUNS AND AMMUNITION has published a number of articles and a book concerning aircraft cannon from WW2 into the postwar years. He should have the information.

National Air and Space Museum Aeronautics Division

    Chuck,

Try the above. It's the Garber Facility in Maryland, just outside DC. They have everything from blueprints of the P-51 series to flight manuals, etc. They are the RESTORATION service for the NASM. Slow, thorough and if someone has it they would or would know who does.

The National Air and Space Museum Archives is the repository of thousands of aircraft and spacecraft technical and scale drawings, donated over the decades by manufacturers, the armed services, and by individual illustrators. Most drawings are available for reproduction. Lists and order forms for several drawing collections are available for download or by mail, but these listings represent only a small percentage of the Archives' drawings; see Miscellaneous Drawings on Paper for information on ordering "unlisted" drawings.

    Chuck,
Call Mr. Harrison Toms at (937) 255-8716. He is one of the Restoration experts at the Air Force Museum here in Dayton OH. He is a busy man and can be hard to get a hold of, since he is sometimes out on recovery jobs. I believe he may be out now recovering an old Bomarc missile. Good luck!

    eat bananas before you fly..
    reason for that:
they taste the same comming up as they do going down.
