Sight is on the band. Block for bayonet is on the top of barrel. Nice musket. The upper band springs are available and shouldn’t be too hard to find.

Production date of the Waltham is about 1940 and is a model 1908 Crescent St. with press in jewels.
Well done! Looks great!
Let’s see the inside, please. The backs should unscrew.

It’s an original
The “lesser” ones are still good watches just varying desirability. The Omegas and Longines seem to be the most desirable.
No, Peter I haven’t worked on or even seen a Kurt before. I’ve worked on the main ones of course.

The muzzle is up on the two band pictures.
Hope these help....
It’s an original WWI era US Quartermaster Corp uniform, rather complete as well. Staff sergeant chevrons.
Look up the battle of Chateau-Thierry 18 July 1918.
You must admit he’d probably look fetching in a too too. I think he’s got the legs for it. [emoji2]
Sorry, back to the L1A1.[emoji2]
Don’t judge, Gil. It’s 2019 after all.[emoji2]
You may not want to google that.
That is exactly how the B.B. was in my Shiloh sharps. I hand stoned the surface until it fit nice and tight, no slop at all and I had to lever it out like yours.
They are a lot of fun aren’t they,...
The Shiloh sharps I had had a tight fitting gas check or plate. Not loose fitting at all. I made the longer cartridges out of nitrated paper with ring tailed bullet. When you loaded it, the plate was...
Can we see some pictures of the breach block etc., Patrick?
